Disney World has announced new attractions and resorts that will be coming soon. A new immersive Star Wars themed resort will be built and has been officially announced by Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks. A “Tron” ride is coming to the Magic Kingdom, which has been the most popular ride in the Shanghai Disneyland park. A 1920s style theater is being constructed at the Magic Kingdom entrance, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will have 3-D effects when built at Hollywood Studios, and also coming is Toy Story Land to be opening in the summer of 2018. At Epcot, there will be a “Guardians of the Galaxy” ride and a new “Ratatouille” themed ride at the France exhibit. “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” is also coming to Disney World, but it will be open in California before it opens in Florida. Disney Vacation Club has also announced its 15th timeshare resort to be built on Disney World property. It will be known as the Riviera Resort with rooftop restaurant and views of nighttime shows at Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
