Record visitor numbers have been reported by Visit Florida for the eighth year in a row. Visit Florida has reported 126.1 million out-of-state visitors in 2018. Overall, the total represents a 6.2 per cent jump in visitors from the record set in 2017. Visit Orlando had reported 72 million visitors in 2017, which was a record, and will be releasing its 2018 visitor count in May. Despite growth, overseas visitors actually dropped by 1 per cent. The drop was led by a 6 per cent drop in visitors from the United Kingdom. Canadian visitors were up by 3 per cent, Brazil visitors jumped by 8 per cent. Domestically, the largest number of visitors come from Georgia, New York, and Texas respectively.
